Office For Mac

Say cheese with Windows Phone 7

I am a shutterbug. And a new mom. When I got my first smartphone,
a Windows Phone 7, I was dubious of just how “smart” it would be.

But the phone’s 5 MP camera has become my new companion
thanks to a few really handy features.

Even if the handset is locked, you just press the Camera button, choose video or camera mode, zoom if you need to, and shoot.

Sharing, which is kinda the point, is simple too. You can either automatically sync your videos and pictures with SkyDrive, or share in an instant message, email, SkyDrive, or Facebook.

Yes, it’s a Windows Phone, but it plays nice with my Mac too. I use the free Windows Phone Connector 7 app to sync my photos and videos between my phone and my Mac.

My friends might not always agree, but I like the tagging feature in the newest version of Windows Phone 7, Mango. I can tag their faces right from the phone, before uploading pictures to Facebook.

As a new mom and amateur photographer, I wanted great pictures to be simple and fast, without sacrificing time with my daughter.

So far, my new Windows Phone 7 is helping with both.

    Hi Radhika,

while i agree with what you say here as my friend often sends me pics often from her windows phone 7 of her lil one. However, I must say, it has happened more than a few times, when the pic she is sharing with me, is not complete, and hence the mail is resent several times. Can you tell me why this is the case.

Thanks in advance…and btw, your lil one looks gorgeous.
